This is mostly concerned with today's spendthrift kids who are the prime examples of consumerism.Due to the advent of science and technology and the easy access to new gadgets and gizmo's kids and teens are just buying away whatever is available at the
market.

Kids and teens feel left out if they do not possess the latest phones,i-pods,blackberries or the latest bikes.
Due to this peer pressure parents get easily susceptible to the constant pressures of their children and end up buying just about anything every now and then.

This has led to kids almost spending larger amounts of money from their major allowances(if you want it to call it that??)some even more than govt servants!!

Parents say that kids do not even listen and get very aggressive and become very hostile towards the parents.

It was even reported in the papers that kids and teens were caught for alcohol
abuse and underage driving this AGAIN due to the constant pestering of the kids!!
Kids as small as 7 have the most advanced cell phones and are just addicted to it .

It becomes very rude when even in family gatherings kids just attend their phones when talking to their elders!!

Even in holy places and temples and churches kids and even people just do not even bother to switch off their phones.

If parents are like this then what do you expect from the kids then????
It gets so irritating when you are watching a great movie and when some moron's phone rings and then that's it.

So at least parents are the biggest culprits and even adults who are the least bothered about social and tech etiquette(you can call it that).

Parents are the ones that will make humans or demons out of their children and
they are the foundation of the society.

So hope things get better in the future.

Inflation had been a problem in the US and in INDIA due to the rise in the demand of food products but the main contributor is the real challenge to fulfill the world's requirements in terms of fuel for the world economy due to its rise in the GDP of many developing countries especially INDIA and CHINA.

The major concern is that in spite of inflation,there is no fall in sales when it comes to the SUV'S,JEEPS or big cars as inflation has lead to more revenue in the economy, and this leads to higher incomes for the people which in turn makes these guzzlers more and more affordable.
So has inflation really helped to curb the overuse of fossil fuels, and in turn do
something to reduce global warming????

The common man cannot even afford the most efficient car but the rich and affluent can go on guzzling and gulping more and more fuel!!!

i wish the Govt did something else forget the poor even the Environment suffers!

In this modern world of technology and new gizmo's and gadgets coming everyday into our lives,WE have become very dependent on them.
Be it the mobile phone,laptops,PC monitors,iron,microwave ovens,toasters lurks a silent
predator we are not even aware off.
What could that be??Well it is the electromagnetic fieldsor the EMF'S that is slowly but surely lurking in our very homes without us been aware of it at all.
Overexposure to these fields can cause severe damages to the brain tissues by the constant and frequent use of the mobile phone.Kids as young as 4 years get easy access to the cell phones and since their tissues(brain)are not yet fully developed it can
cause severe neurological disordersto the young kids and parents are not even aware of the existence of such fields.

Too much time spent in front of the laptops can lead to overexposure of these EMF'S
and can lead to many cancers and even paralysis.

The people living near the mobile towers are at the maximum risk of being exposed to these fields and can cause long term damage.

Don't believe it??
Its proved on mice's in the labs where those that are exposed to these EMF"S showed
severe damage to the brain tissues and showed a lower sperm count, especially that
from the cell phones.
Experiments on the effect of cell phones on humans has still not shown many damages yet but such a possibility cannot be ruled out, and experiments are being undertaken.

So you believe it or not it is almost impossible to live without our most common
household appliances but we must ensure that we only use it according to our needs,
and not become slaves to them.

The most basic fundamental necessity for any human being to have a very simple and a
fulfilling and enriching life,but in the modern times with people catching up with a lot of catching up to do end up where??

i have heard people say that we need to work today and enjoy tomorrow,But what if there is no tomorrow?Remember MUNNABHAI MBBS?That guy who wanted to live for others, totally neglected his health and one fine day he ends up with stomach cancer and CRAASSSHHHH!!

His dreams,ambitions,hopes all shattered.What if that happens to us.We all should invest today(in looking after our health) for a better tomorrow,else who knows.Many sacrifice their health just to make more money and then spent all that money to get our health back but alas,its too
late then.Again they will have to start all over again but does life give us a second
chance later in life??
I don't think so.Our body is a gift of god but we do not even care to look after it well,and excusing ourselves in the name of our career and eat unhealthy food and intoxicate it with alcohol and smoking and what not?what is the use of worshiping god if we do not appreciate the greatest gift that god has given to us??
So let us just self-introspect for a little while.

I must be sounding too preachy but let us all just give it a thought.

Now you all must have heard that it is healthier to be a veggie, Do you know why??
coz the human body is not designed to eat and digest meat.Then how come animals digest them?That's due to the presence of more acids in their digestive systems like hydrochloric acid which can just melt the meat in secs,
but our bodies(so called humans)have more alkaline systems,and our digestion starts from the mouth from the saliva to be precise which is alkaline and even the gastric juices in the stomach is not strong enough to digest meat.

And for those who eat a lot of meat what about them??the meat actually rots in the intestines and thus for those mild gastric juices to completely digest it and to get it out of our system takes 5 FULL DAYS!!yes you read it right, 5 full days,and even the left over meat sticks to the inner walls of the intestines before it completely leaves the system.

Not just the physical aspect eating meat plays an important part in the mental attitude of people as well.The animal when are about to be killed secrete fear hormones from their glands which is then secreted to all parts of their body and this very hormones is then transferred to the human body via meat,hence we must have observed that meat eaters are more aggressive,angry short tempered and also lack energy.
Veggies are more energetic,healthier and lead longer and fulfilling lives.
so think when you decide to gorge on meat.

well what do you know.Another sensational murder case(s)be it the 'Aarushi murder case'
or the 'Maria murder case'.Just sick and tired of these cases.
people have lost their sensitivity,as they want to make a movie of it!!s.

we Indians are the biggest hypocrites in the world,as we love to read about them but do not want it to happen to us!!we make an issue of these big cases and then just forget about it.sometimes i just feel that there is no value of being good anymore.if anything good happens you have to search for it in the papers by using the microscope,and we all find good things BORING now.
even i do not mind page 3 news,as celebrities themselves want to be in the limelight,but real tragedies is very personal and should be kept at that.
I personally wish that the papers give equal importance (IF NOT MORE!)for good things
happening around us.
the last thing i want is to get up in the morning and read about rapes and murders.

DO YOU WANT TO START YOUR DAY LIKE THAT??
i hope that day does not come when we demand only the so called 'sensational news'.
