yo!!
This is regarding the whole hullabaloo about this cricket tournament.Once a Upon a time players
used to make sure that their calenders(cricket) was free only then they used to play county cricket.
But now they make sure that there is no Stanford or IPl(Indian pathetic league) only then players are willing to play international for their TEAMS!
What is the reason for this tournament???Because of 20-20?(Did not we have a 20-20 world cup recently???,where each and every player played for his country, for his own honor).
Now what just for money ,money and more money. Are thew cricketers so poor?
yes!The retired players can have a good game but not at the expense of test or international cricket. The traditional rivalry too is lost due to players of different teams playing together.
And are the film stars investing for a great noble cause?even if 10% of that money was invested in other sports we would see more feats achieved in other sports. A movie on hockey is good entertainment but will not do much.
Let them just act!
someone is slapping and others clapping and crying.Does the IPl need any more publicity??
क्या होगा इस खेल का?

I agree with some of what you have to do say and some I don't.
:D
For one, I believe it's a novel approach to the game of cricket, the IPL is not exactly trying to set new standards here, but it is bringing new levels of excitement, some new faces (who might have forever languished in domestic levels) and putting together people from different countries who've faced each other across the pitch is not a bad idea either, if you consider the notion of 'Vasudevaka Kutumbam'.
We're one big family, whether we're the ones watching the cricket, or the ones on the field.
Just open up and bit and you'll see that it's the game that matters, forget the commercial and vested interests.
Because, when it comes down the last ball, and one run to be scored, you just can't look away!
